Sometimes there are songs I’ve heard for the first time, but fill me with emotions as if I’d had a memory attached to the music already. It evokes a time, a person, a location, and a melancholic return. I guess you could say it’s saudade? But I’m more interested in how it arrived, how this song or type of music rouses those feelings inside.
It would have been nice to share that moment with this song.
